EUROPLAST GmbH - Innovative leader in the Injection molding industry

Interview with Mr. Mario Guggenbichler – International Sales Manager.

Dear Mr. Guggenbichler, please present your company briefly.

The company EUROPLAST Kunststoffbehälterindustrie GmbH was founded in 1995 and started production in 1997 at the location Dellach / Drau. The company is part of JCO Plastic SpA and is 100% privately owned. EUROPLAST, with more than 100 employees on injection molding machines, produces plastic containers for agriculture, food industry and logistics as well as recycling containers, preferably from the raw material HDPE, and operates its own recycling plant. Contract manufacturing for plastic injection molded parts is also offered. Exports to all of Europe, as a core competence is the production of large injection molded parts with up to 50kg on the largest currently used in Austria injection molding machines. Above all, customers appreciate the flexibility in order processing and the short delivery times. In 2018, the company generated sales of just under € 36 million and in 2016 was able to win Austria's second place among the Austrias leading companies in the "Golden Mittelbau" category.

Could you tell us about the technologies you use to manufacture plastics?

We are using the latest injection molding systems to produce very precise products with a clamping force of 200 tons up to 4500 tons.
The company has been producing CO2 neutral since 1.1.2019.

Which products will you be showcasing at Save the Planet Sofia this year? For which industries are they best suited for?

Europlast is offering plastic big boxes, pallets and waste containers.
All our waste containers from 10 lt up to 1100 lt are according to the Norm EN-840 and to the highest level in Europe RAL-GZ 951/1.
Our products are used in the meat industry, agriculture and in the waste sector.

What type of visitors would you like to see at your booth? From which sectors?

All visitors are welcome to visit our Austrian quality products.
Mainly we are looking for partners or direct sales – for example to communal waste companies
